The mapping of migrant citizens’ associations was developed by the Centro studi e ricerche IDOS in the framework of the project “IN.CO.NT.RO”.
The project was promoted by the Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali - Direzione Generale dell'immigrazione e delle politiche di integrazione and co-founded by the Fondo Europeo per l'Integrazione dei cittadini di Paesi terzi.
The main goal of the mapping is to integrate and make available the data about migrants’ associations based in Italy, through a database that can be always updated and increased. At present time, 2.114 associations are mapped in the database.
